TCI and Giardina's Partner to Support Share Our Strength's Great American Dine Out

The Catfish Institute (TCI) and Giardina's restaurant in Greenwood, Miss., are partnering to support Share our Strength's Great American Dine Out event September 20-26, 2009.

Giardina's will be donating the proceeds from their five U.S. Farm-Raised Catfish menu items to the Share Our Strength organization. In addition, TCI will make a matching contribution to Share Our Strength for every catfish dish sold during the Great American Dine Out event.

"This is a great cause for the U.S. catfish industry to support," said Roger Barlow, president of TCI. "We are proud to join Giardina's efforts for Share Our Strength, an organization with the noble goal of ending child hunger.  With such a variety of catfish menu options, I'm sure this year's Great American Dine Out will be a wonderful success."

To participate in the Great American Dine Out, simply visit Giardina's restaurant in historic downtown Greenwood and order any catfish item from their menu during the week of September 20-26, 2009.
